7 KBS Pilot Shows Airing Over The Chuseok Holiday
The Chuseok holiday is a time to see family and eat delicious food, and enjoy watching television! KBS will air seven new pilot shows during the 10-day long Chuseok holiday this fall that could be chosen to become regular programming. Check out a list of what KBS has in store below.
“I Came Alone” (literal title) will air on October 3 at 11 p.m. KST. Guests will go on a trip then watch the trip with MCs, where they can talk about their feelings and observations from the trip. So far, actress Han Go Eun and singers Sung Si Kyung, Min Kyung Hoon, and Soyou have been confirmed to appear on the show.
“1 percent Friendship” (literal title) will air on October 5 at 5:50 p.m. KST. Two people with contrasting personalities will be paired up and spend the day together. Jung Hyung Don, Bae Chul Soo, and Ahn Jung Hwan will be the MCs, while Bae Jung Nam will be paired up with Ahn Jung Hwan, and Kim Jong Min with Sul Min Suk.
“Line Up” (literal title) will air on October 6 at 6 p.m. KST. MCs will go to famous restaurants and popular places to wait in line and experience the craze for themselves. So far, the confirmed guests include comedians Kim Jun Hyun, Kim Jun Ho, Lee Young Ja, Kwon Hyuk Soo, Kim Sook, and Kim Na Young.
“Hyena On Top of the Keyboard” (literal title) will air October 607 at 10:50 p.m. KST. It will be hosted by Girls’ Generation member Sunny and Jung Hyung Don, along with musicians Yoon Jong Shin and Jung Jae Hyung. This show will be a reality music variety show that will showcase the music production process and everyday life of music producers. Rapper Gray and PENTAGON member Hui will appear on the show as well.
“Let Me Sleep Over For One Night” (literal title) will feature Lee Sang Min and Kim Jong Min. The pair will go to a foreign country and ask locals if they can sleep in their home for a night.
“Swan Club” (literal title) will feature Seo Jang Hoon, Seo Jung Hee, Kim Sung Eun, Wang Ji Won, Oh Yoon Ah, and Cosmic Girls member Cheng Xiao. The guests will find healing through ballet.
Finally, “Choice of 100 People” (literal title) will have a group of panelists go to famous eateries and judge the food for themselves.
