After School’s Uee is nominated for the 48th Baeksang Arts Awards, Rookie Actress Award and also the Popular Female Award. The awards ceremony will be held on April 26. The Baeksang Arts Awards has begun in 1965. Out of the national awards ceremonies the Baeksang Arts Awards is the only one that combines theater, film, and TV awards altogether.

Uee received the Female Rookie award during the KBS Acting Awards Ceremony. This was for her role in the KBS drama “Ojakgyo Brothers.” Uee has also appeared in dramas such as “Queen Seon-Deok,” and “Heartstrings.”

Originally Uee was supposed to appear on a different event the same day, but will not appear on the event because of the awards ceremony. After the awards ceremony she will leave for Japan to attent the After School exclusive concert which will be held on April 27.
