Sitting down to answer fans’ questions with Esquire, Eunwoo first got on the topic of his family when he was asked what his secret to keeping calm and composed was. While he admitted that it’s not always easy to do so he usually asks others for advice, especially from his parents.

I often lose my composure, but I try not to be carried away by emotions and ask for advice in order to stay calm. I try to take an objective view without being subjective. I talk a lot with my parents as well. And my dad’s (advice) hits home a lot too.

Hearing Eunwoo talk about his dad, the PD couldn’t help asking a few more questions. The first dealt with the most memorable piece of advice he received from his father while the second was all about whether or not his dad was strict. And surprisingly, Eunwoo admitted that his dad had been quite strict with him when he was younger.

He was very hard on me when I was younger but now he’s become a lot softer than before.

His father, however, had his reasons! Eunwoo continued that his dad was particularly strict with how much he ate and would always make sure he finished at least 3 bowls of rice whenever they visited his grandma because she likes to see him eat a lot!

When I went to my grandmother’s house when I was little he always said I couldn’t leave the table until I finished at least 3 bowls of rice because my grandma likes it when I eat a lot.

Because of this, Eunwoo cutely added, “I was a little chubby when I was little because of my dad!
