Their reign continued the following week, shattering streaming and sales records. BTS became the only group of the 21st century to debut at #1 on the “Hot 100” and stay at No.1 for a second consecutive week.

On September 14, after days of anticipation, Billboard announced the new chart ranking for September 19. “Dynamite” has dropped below Cardi B‘s “WAP” to take the No. 2 spot, followed by Drake and DaBaby.

After so much stress and streaming, many fans were hoping for another No.1, but No.2 is still very impressive. In addition to taking No.2 on the “Hot 100”, “Dynamite” is reigning supreme on the “Digital Song Sales Chart” for the third week running.
