BLACKPINK’s Lisa Shares Her Trainee Experience And Gives Advice In “Youth With You 3”
In a recent episode of Youth With You 3, trainee Jiang Jingzuo shared his concern to BLACKPINK‘s Lisa, who is a mentor on the show.
I’d like to ask you a question. Now, it’s getting close to the end. We had so many performances, and I feel fulfilled. If I’m out, I don’t know when I can get a chance like this. I used to force myself to exercise and go to the gym every day, go to the company or practice room to film some videos. I take the practice room as a stage. However, it would be hard if I leave. I wonder if you have experienced the same thing.

Lisa shared that she experienced something similar to Jiang Jingzuo when she was a trainee.
I have. I’ve been there. I was a trainee for 5 years. At the beginning of year one or two, the company said that I would debut, but eventually, I became a trainee for 5 years. I thought why it was still not my turn. I had to do the same thing over and over in the practice room every day. There aren’t many things you can do. That’s the harsh reality.
However, Lisa wants Jiang Jingzuo to spend his remaining time on Youth With You 3 doing whatever he wants so that he has no regrets in the future.
So, I want you to look the other way. There’s still time for you here. Do whatever you want. Do things you won’t regret later. I hope when you think about it later, you feel you’ve done everything you can, and you have no regrets. When you think back on today’s happiness, you feel like you’ve done your best, it’ll be a good memory. Just cherish it like that, not regret it.
After listening to Lisa’s heartwarming advice, Jiang Jingzuo shared that he’s “let go” of many things over the past few days and that he’s happy!
That’s what I’ve been thinking these last few days. I’ve been under a lot of pressure lately because I felt like I could fight for a lot of things. But now, through these few days with everyone, I feel like I let go of many things in my heart. I found peace. There are two or three stages left. Everyone should be left alone, and I think it’s important to be happy because it’s closer to the end, no matter if I make it to the finals or not. Time goes fast, so all I want to do is spend the last few days here and enjoy them. I’m happy now.
