On August 14, 2016, BLACKPINK performed “Whistle” on SBS Inkigayo.

During the actual performance, she didn’t have much time to take it in since she was so busy trying to do her best.

It was my first performance but I didn’t even think of it as my first performance because I was just so busy, like, thinking of all the things I had to do [on stage].

To the audience, however, she didn’t seem nervous at all and put on a great debut performance!

It wasn’t until the staff congratulated the girls after their performance that everything really began to sink in.

All of our hair and makeup and staff had brought flowers and wrote handwritten letters and they all surprised us.

—  Rosé

She couldn’t help but think of all of their hard work from their trainee days paying off…

…and even shed tears of joy!
