BoA And Oh My Girl’s YooA Share Why They Decided To Appear On New Variety Show
BoA and Oh My Girl’s YooA shared their reasons for joining tvN’s new variety show “Food Diary”!
A press conference for the show was held on May 25 which was attended by cast members Seo Jang Hoon, BoA, Lee Soo Geun, Park Sung Gwang, NCT’s Taeyong, Oh My Girl’s YooA, and Nick.
BoA has not been a familiar face on variety shows throughout her career, and when she was asked why she decided to appear on “Food Diary,” she replied that she had wanted to try living on a farm because, “I wondered if I would ever have the chance to live on a farm if not now.” She added, “When I heard who else would be appearing on the show, I happily agreed to join in because they were people I’ve wanted to spend time with.”
She explained that she’s enjoyed her time filming the show as she said, “Every day was so busy. Watching our crops grow and taking care of a farm with our own hands has made me see the draw of living on a farm. It’s more of a documentary-style reality show than a traditional variety show, and we’ve been discovering a side of ourselves that we didn’t know previously.”
Oh My Girl’s YooA revealed that BoA had been a deciding factor in why she decided to appear on the show. She stated, “When I was given the offer to be on the show, as soon as I heard that BoA would be there, I immediately knew I had to go.” YooA continued to show her affection for her senior as she said, “BoA is so precious to me because she really helped me feel like I belonged there with her. I’m so happy to be able to spend so much time with her.”
“Farm Diary” is a show that follows a group of celebrities as they become farmers to grow and raise all of the ingredients needed to make a dish. The show will premiere on May 30 and air every Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. KST on tvN.
