BTS‘s Suga recently unveiled his dream of playing guitar for fans. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, he discussed his shoulder surgery and being able to play guitar again after recovering.

Suga shared that he’s feeling “much better” since his shoulder surgery that took place at the end of 2020.

There’s still some physical therapy that I have to do, but it’s much better. And, yes, I suffered the injury in an accident when I was 20 years old and then as I continued to deteriorate, it was recommended to me that I undergo surgery. Fortunately, there was a little bit of time that I could use to have this procedure. So that’s what we did.

After putting it off for many years, he questioned if it would hurt his ability to keep performing in the future. He revealed he eventually went through with it in fear of the toll it was taking on his body.

Ever since healing his shoulder, Suga reveals he’s back playing guitar, one of his favorite past-times.

Since my shoulder got much better, I am back on the guitar. I’ve been playing other people’s songs to practice.

If fans have a dream of watching Suga sing and play guitar one day, they might be in luck! He shared that he hopes it can be more than just something he shows to fans through an online livestream.

I’m looking forward to sometime in the far future of being able to sing and play the guitar at the same time. That’s what I’m working toward.
