“It’s Dangerous Beyond The Blankets” Premiere Scores Lower Ratings Than Pilot
MBC’s new reality show “It’s Dangerous Beyond the Blankets” premiered on April 5 to significantly lower ratings than those scored by its pilot in 2017.
According to Nielsen Korea, the show’s official premiere recorded average viewership ratings of 2.2 percent nationwide, coming in at third place in its time slot. The first pilot episode of the program, which aired on August 27 of last year, had managed to claim first place in its time slot with average viewership ratings of 5 percent.
On April 5, it was KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together” that took first place in the time slot, recording average ratings of 4.7 percent during its first half and 5 percent during its second.
“It’s Dangerous Beyond the Blankets” is a reality show that will follow a number of celebrity homebodies as they hang out at home and then go on a trip together. Wanna One’s Kang Daniel and EXO’s Xiumin, who both appeared in the pilot, will be returning, joined by new cast members Kim Min Suk, Loco, Lee Yi Kyung, Jeong Sewoon, and more.
