Events Canceled Following Passing Of SHINee’s Jonghyun

JYP and Cube Entertainment have also announced postponements in light of the recent tragedy.
TWICE’s “Merry & Happy” music video, originally scheduled for release on December 21, has been pushed back to December 22 at midnight KST.
Also, Jo Woo Chan, Park Hyun Jin, and ACHILLO‘s “OGZ” music video has been pushed back from its initial release date of December 20. Cube announced through Twitter that the release date would be revealed at a later date.
Following the sudden passing of SHINee’s Jonghyun, many events have been canceled.
In particular, fellow SM Entertainment artists have stepped down from events or regularly scheduled appearances due to the tragedy. H.O.T member Kangta’s place as the host of the radio show “Starry Night” was taken over by singer Ilac on December 18. Ilac mentioned during the show that the staff had determined that Kangta would be too sorrowful to host the show that day.
NCT’s Jaehyun and Johnny also did not host their usual SBS PowerFM radio show “NCT’s Night Night” on December 18. Paul Kim took over the role of DJ for them, and the video broadcast of the show was canceled.
Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon has also postponed a fan signing event that was planned for December 19.
SHINee’s Key traveled to Lisbon, Portugal on December 17 for a photo shoot, and it is reported that it appears he will no longer take part and will return to Korea.
Other events that have been canceled include a V Live broadcast for Highlight member Yong Junhyung‘s birthday on December 19, and a scheduled V Live broadcast by Jeong Sewoon.
