Ryu Jun Yeol received a surprising Valentine’s Day gift while in England!

On February 14, a British comedy video-creator uploaded a clip on Instagram of himself approaching a stranger who was busy looking at his camera. He handed him a big red heart balloon and said, “Would you be my Valentine? It’s for you.”

While it appeared to be just a light-hearted joke video fitting with the holiday, the clip gained lots of attention because the stranger is none other than actor Ryu Jun Yeol.

In the clip, Ryu Jun Yeol reacted by looking up in shock at first but then laughing and thanking him as he accepted the balloon. The video also includes a shot of him looking around the street while holding the balloon.

After the video was shared on Instagram, fans commented to express how surprised they were to see Ryu Jun Yeol, and they let the creator know that the star of the video is a famous actor in Korea. The caption on the video was then changed to tag Ryu Jun Yeol.

Ryu Jun Yeol has since uploaded a photo of the balloon. He wrote, “My balloon couldn’t resist and flew to your hearts, see you guys soon.”

According to Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency, he’s currently on a trip in England after he received a week’s holiday. On February 14, the soccer-loving actor shared a video on Instagram that he took of Korean player Son Heung Min (a good friend of his) on the field at a 2018-2019 UEFA Champions League match between his team Tottenham and Dortmund.

Ryu Jun Yeol recently appeared in the popular film “Hit-and-Run Squad” with Gong Hyo Jin and Jo Jung Suk. Fans will soon get to see him with Lee Je Hoon in the new JTBC backpacking variety show “Traveler,” which premieres next week.
