There was a river of tears of joy on Twitter when MONSTA X won for the first time ever on a major network music show as they took home the “Music Bank” trophy on November 2!

MONSTA X has been steadily soaring after winning their first music show trophy late last year on “The Show” with “Dramarama,” and another “The Show” trophy for their next comeback with “Jealousy.”

The group’s latest title track “Shoot Out” has been racking up the wins this week, with MONSTA X earning a streak of first place trophies that began on SBS MTV’s “The Show” on October 30. They then won on MBC Music’s “Show Champion” on October 31 and again on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on November 1. Fans have been emotional all this week even just over the fact that “Shoot Out” became their first song to win more than one trophy on a music show.

On November 2, MONSTA X’s trophies for “Shoot Out” increased to four in total when the group won on KBS’s “Music Bank”! This win was even more exciting for the group and their fans Monbebe because KBS is one of Korea’s major non-cable networks, and coming in first on KBS’s “Music Bank,” SBS’s “Inkigayo,” or MBC’s “Music Core” is seen as a huge milestone in an artist’s career.

The guys were shocked by the announcement that they won, and tearfully embraced with a group hug on stage after expressing their thanks. Fans were crying right along with them, and #ShootOut4thWin shot to the Top 10 list of worldwide trending topics on Twitter as Monbebe celebrated the historic moment with MONSTA X.
