Girl’s Day has proven their popularity in Japan by ranking high on music charts with their debut release “Darling.”

According to their management agency Dream Tea Entertainment, the group’s debut album topped the Singles Chart of Tower Records after its release on September 30. With over 80 locations across the country, Tower Records is Japan’s leading record store chain and its charts are commonly used as reference when measuring the commercial success of an album.

The Japanese version of “Darling” can also be found on Oricon‘s Daily Chart, entering the chart at No.8.

Meanwhile, Girl’s Day has been busy meeting their Japanese fans — approximately 15,000 of them – by holding 28 promotional events and three concerts over the past two weeks. The girls will reportedly wrap up their Japanese promotions and return to Korea today (September 30).
