YG Entertainment was recently hit with backlash by the Health and Medical Workers’ Union of Korea for the “inaccurate” nurse outfit that BLACKPINK‘s Jennie wore in the group’s new MV, “Lovesick Girls.”

And following their first statement expressing that there was no intention to sexually objectify nurses through the MV, YG Entertainment revealed that they will be deleting the nurse scenes from the MV entirely.

We have decided to delete all scenes that show the nurse uniform in the music video and will be replacing the music video with the edited version ASAP.

In response, the Health and Medical Workers’ Union of Korea showed YG Entertainment their support.

We welcome your decision to change the scenes quickly like the global stars you are.

They even went on to state,
