For Jennie, her dopo and baeja really stood out to me.

She explained that a dopo is something that only scholars wore back in the day, with the main focal point of the top being its long length.

She revealed that for Jennie’s look, they cut it to make it shorter and more modern.

They cut it short so that she could perform in it but they did use the remaining fabric and wrapped it around her waist like a skirt.

Next, the young designer goes on to explain what a baeja is and how Jennie wore it in their music video.

She is wearing something over her top and it’s called a baeja. It’s similar to a vest and is meant for women to wear. They used the sleeveless top and lined it with fur for extra warmth in the winter.

For Lisa, the jeogori and her skirt are the focal points of her outfit. The norigae that is attached to her jeogori is really unique.

As for her skirt, I was really interested in the pattern so I looked it up to find out it was a skirt made by the brand Maje. I believe that they were mimicking the traditional clothing and pattern worn by the people in Thailand since she is Thai.

She continues on with a break down of Rosé‘s hanbok look.

In regards to what she’s wearing underneath, you may wonder if that can be considered hanbok but it is a chest piece. It was an undergarment type of clothing worn by women back in the Joseon Dynasty.

Last, but definitely not least is member Jisoo and her hanbok outfit.

With her waist skirt, it was already on the shorter side, but instead of wearing it around her waist, they pulled it all the way up to make a mini dress, making it even shorter.
