Superstar K2‘s John Park revealed a picture of himself with legendary pop singer Patty Kim via his agency. John Park met Patty Kim on the filming set of KBS “Immortal Songs 2” on March 12. He said that Patty Kim is so charismatic that when she came over to encourage him before the performance, he felt completely overwhelmed by her presence and charisma.

On this upcoming episode of “Immortal Songs 2: Patty Kim Special,” John Park immediately grabbed the attention of the audience with his low voice and new, bluesy version of Patty Kim’s “I Can’t Forget.” He commented, “I understand that Patty Kim’s ‘I Can’t Forget’ was released back in 1978. It is a big honor for me to sing a song that has been loved by people for 34 years.”

Previously on February 22, John Park released his debut mini-album “Knock.” Many famous musicians like Kim Dong Ryul, Kim Hyung Suk, Nah Won Ju, and Lee Sang Soon participated in this album. Within 20 days of its release, “Knock” sold more than 20,000 copies, allowing John Park to be the only rookie in the top 10 of major music charts online and offline. Even after almost a month of its release, “Knock” and John Park are continuing their winning streak together.

Fans and viewers will be able to hear John Park’s version of Patty Kim’s “I Can’t Forget” in the upcoming episodes of KBS “Immortal Songs 2: Patty Kim Special” on March 24 and 30.
