It seems like the K-Pop entertainment industry has been struck with another wave of new COVID-19 cases with many recently confirmed positive tests.

Recently, K-Pop idol group D-CRUNCH members Hyunwook and O.V tested positive for COVID-19. Their label, AI GRAND KOREA, released a follow-up statement confirming that the other members and staff members all tested negative.

Singer Kang Daniel, who came in close contact with D-CRUNCH during SBS MTV’s The Show, also tested negative for COVID-19.

K-Pop group BAE173, who also came in contact with D-CRUNCH, released an official statement confirming that they all tested negative for COVID-19.

Singer and music actor Kim Junsu also recently came in contact with a confirmed patient and conducted testing right away.

Below is the official statement:

Hello this is C-JeS Entertainment. Our artist Kim Junsu came into close contact with a confirmed patient on April 23 and confirmed negative for COVID-19 on April 24. However, according to quarantine guidelines, regardless of his results, he will begin self-isolation until May 5 as he is categorized as someone who was in close contact with a confirmed case.

Actor Shin Sung Rok has also confirmed negative for COVID-19.

HB Entertainment revealed, “After hearing news of actor Son Jun Ho being tested positive for COVID-19, Shin Sung Rok took a test with his results coming back negative”.

According to quarantine guidelines, he will be going into self-isolation.
