Korean Women’s Groups File Injunction Order Against “Let Me In” to Stop It From Airing
Women’s groups including Seoul YWCA, Korean Counseling Agency for Sexual Abuse and Korean Women’s Association will be filing an injunction order against the airing of tvN’s variety program “Let Me In.”
“Let Me In” performs plastic surgery on people who suffer due to their physical appearance.
The women’s groups involved said, “We have been working hard to make people understand the harmful effects of makeover programs and asked the producer CJ E&M to stop airing this show, but the program is still continuing. Now the program is recruiting participants for the sixth season, so we decided to file an injunction to stop this program from continuing.” They further claimed that the program is “an advertisement for plastic surgery that is an hour long,” and that it is “a pro-plastic program.”
