Kwak Si Yang And Kim Sung Cheol Join SHINee’s Minho And Megan Fox In Upcoming Film
On November 23, Kwak Si Yang‘s agency Star House Entertainment confirmed that Kwak Si Yang will play the role of company commander Park Chan Nyeon in the film, “Jangsa-ri 9.15.”
Rising rookie Kim Sung Cheol is also confirmed to appear in the film as Ki Ha Ryun, an ace student soldier who will be in conflict with squad commander Choi Sung Pil (played by SHINee’s Minho) and raise tension throughout the film. Kim Sung Cheol’s agency BS Company stated, “He cut his hair short and is filming with passion. Please look forward to his second film and support him.”
“Jangsa-ri 9.15” is a war film that follows the events that took place on September 15, 1950 during the Battle of Jangsa. The battle was a demonstration operation to ensure the success of the Battle of Inchon led by United Nations peacekeepers and General MacArthur. It was led by 772 student soldiers with the average age of 17 years old and training period of two weeks.
