Actor Kwon Sang Woo and director Lee Jae Han recently attended a seminar in Stanford to discuss their new film, “Into the Gunfire.” The film is based on the true story of 71 students who fought in the Korean war and depicts the struggles they faced internally as well as the strain put on their relationships. In addition to Kwon Sang Woo the movie stars Cha Seung Won, Kim Seung Woo, and TOP of Big Bang.

Stanford’s Asia-Pacific Research Center supported the Lee’s film during it’s planning stages, and the Korean Studies Program invited the two to speak for the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War.

Lee Jae Han is also director to the popular film “A Moment to Remember” which was released in 2004 starring Jung Woo Sung and Son Ye Jin.
