Girl group Lovelyz feels positive about having overlapping promotions with fellow up-and-coming groups TWICE and SEVENTEEN.

The girl group sat down for a short interview with Star News before their first comeback stage on “M!Countdown” on April 28.

When asked how they feel about their return, Lovelyz responded, “We’re both equally excited and worried ahead of our comeback stage. We can’t wait to show what we have prepared.”

In addition to dropping new albums on the same day as Lovelyz, TWICE and SEVENTEEN also put on comeback performances on this week’s “M!Countdown.”

“All three of us — we, SEVENTEEN, and TWICE — have different styles. We would like to see all of us develop and improve while promoting at the same time,” the girls shared their thoughts on their fellow idol groups.

They also revealed what they’d like to learn from SEVENTEEN and TWICE, “They are extremely energetic on stage. We want to learn about their energy.”

“Whenever we run into each other, we cheer each other on,” Lovelyz shared about the friendly interaction between the rookie groups.
