The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups using data from April 11 to May 12.
Wanna One maintained its spot at the top of the list for the third consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 12,393,690. The group enjoyed a 11.22 percent increase in its score since April.
High-ranking phrases in Wanna One’s keyword analysis included “Idol Room,” “Kang Daniel,” and “Hwang Min Hyun.” The group’s highest-ranking related terms included “cute,” “love,” and “thankful.” Wanna One’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 78.53 percent positive reactions.
BTS maintained its position at second place with a brand reputation index of 9,107,392, while EXO climbed one spot in the rankings to take third place with an index of 5,095,278. WINNER and SEVENTEEN also rose in the rankings to round out the top five on this month’s list, claiming fourth and fifth places respectively.
