MONSTA X Postpones Online Concert For Shownu As He Recovers From Eye Surgery
Back in April, MONSTA X officially canceled the Seoul concerts as part of their 2020 world tour due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This world tour was initially announced in January of this year and was supposed to start in Seoul in May and head to North America in June.

Although both MONSTA X and fans were sad that they weren’t able to see each other, they understood the current situation and patiently waited for more updates. In June, MONSTA X revealed that they would be holding an online concert titled MONSTA X Live from Seoul With Luv as a way to interact with fans during these times. The concert was supposed to be streamed from a platform called LivexLive with tickets opening on June 26 at 8 AM EST.

Unfortunately, the online concert that was supposed to stream on July 26 at 12 PM KST has been postponed to August 9 at 12 PM KST. This decision was made as they felt that Shownu needed more time to recover from his emergency surgery.
Shownu had a Left Retinal Detachment (Amotio Retinae) surgery recently and they decided to postpone in order to put their artists’s health first.

We hope that Shownu recovers well and that we can see him in his best condition for the online concert!
