Photos of JYJ Junsu’s first TV drama appearance have been released by the production crew of SBS drama “Scent of a Woman” today. Making a cameo appearance as a popular singer with his real-life name “Junsu,” JYJ’s star singer held a live concert in front of more than 500 fans for a scene in the episode scheduled to air on August 6th.

During the concert scene, Junsu live performed “I Can Soar” from JYJ’s “The Beginning” album and “Intoxication” from his Japanese album. His charismatic performance impressed the fans that waited from 9AM to get into the filming arena, where more than 5,000 people initially gathered to gain access to the site.

Junsu’s cameo appearance was made possible because of his involvement in the drama OST. One of the main tracks of “Scent of a Woman” is Junsu’s “You Are So Beautiful,” which started playing in the show since the third episode.

“It was Junsu’s first time acting (in a TV drama), but he was the perfect fit to play the role of popular singer ‘Junsu.’ His sensational stage performance and passion truly made him look like the best singer in Asia. The staff and cast on site were all impressed and had a great time together, just like they were at a real concert,” the production crew said in a statement.

SBS drama “Scent of a Woman,” starring Kim Sun Ah, Lee Dong Wook, and Uhm Ki Joon, airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:50PM.
