tvN‘s plastic surgery makeover show “Let Me In” will be ending with its fifth season.

Through an official press release released on September 17, the cable channel announced the makeover program’s end. They commented, “Considering our channel’s change in content direction and the changing attitudes of the society, we have decided to conclude this plastic surgery program.”

Hence, “Let Me In” will be ending after a five-year run and five seasons.

The show, which offers full plastic surgery makeovers for people who are tormented by their physical appearances, has consistently drawn criticisms for glorifying plastic surgery. Recently, they faced an injunction order for cancellation filed by women’s groups such as Seoul YWCA, Korean Counseling Agency for Sexual Abuse, and Korean Women’s Association for promoting plastic surgery.
