PRISTIN’s Nayoung showed her support for the “Produce 48” contestants as a former I.O.I member.

On May 28, PRISTIN’s very first unit PRISTIN V held a showcase for their debut album “Like a V,” which was released on the same day.

During the event, members Nayoung, Roa, Eunwoo, Rena, and Kyulkyung discussed their villainous concept, and clarified that the unit was not chosen based on who appeared on “Produce 101.” While on the topic of the survival show, the members were asked to share their thoughts and advice for the contestants of “Produce 48.”

Nayoung answered, “They are really full of appeal and I’m looking forward to it because talented people are competing. I will be enthusiastically supporting them. I believe they will do well.”

Kyulkyung also talked about her experience as a dance mentor on the Chinese survival program “Idol Producer,” saying, “I prepared a lot beforehand because I thought that I wasn’t at the level to be a mentor, but they regarded me better than I expected.” She continued, “I remembered my own training period while watching them. I think I learned a lot about many things while teaching, like attitude. I remembered the mindset I had as a rookie, and I was very moved. It was a good experience.”

PRISTIN V will be performing their title track “Get It” on various music shows beginning this week.
