“Queen Seon Deok” Go Hyun Jung To Star In A New Historical Drama?
Go Hyun Jung, known as the “empress of home screens” is rumored to star in a historical drama on a new broadcast network. News agencies report that the “Queen Seon Deok” actress is confirmed to take on the lead role in a new historical drama, which is also being prepared to inaugurate the network. According to reports, Go is being offered the best roles and that she has already picked a project.
Go has already proved her mettle in historical dramas with her portrayal of one of the main characters in 2009’s mega popular “Queen Seon Deok,” receiving high ratings from both critics and viewers.
The buzz surrounding Go’s acceptance of the project is due to the influx of big-name actors starring in dramas to air in new broadcast stations. It was recently announced that Jung Woo Sung, most recently of “Athena” will star with Han Ji Min and Kim Bum in jTBC’s “Padam-padam,” set to launch on December.
Go is currently shooting the film “Miss Go Project.” However, weather conditions have temporarily halted the filming.
