Sam Kim makes his first appearance on his agency director’s music program, KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.”

After coming second on “K-Pop Star Season 3,” Sam Kim has signed an exclusive contract with Antenna Music, Yoo Hee Yeol’s agency. The MC asks if he has ever regretted his decision on not choosing YG or JYP, he firmly answers: “Never.”

Yoo Hee Yeol also questions the reason why he did not accept songs written by composers in the same agency, like Jung Jae Hyung or Lucid Falls, and Sam Kim just trails off hilariously, “Because of the generation gap…” He later embarrasses Yoo Hee Yeol by exposing his director’s choice of lyrics, “Mr. Yoo seems to write the word ‘bed’ a lot.”

The musician, nicknamed The Guitar Genius, later confesses that he started playing the guitar because he wanted to impress a crush.

He also reveals that he cannot read music. Instead, he has been practicing music just by listening. His revelation wows Yoo Hee Yeol and the audience, which earns him a massive applause.
