Sunday began her path to the idol industry in 2001 after being selected as one of the top trainees in SM Entertainment’s youth auditions. She first debuted as a soloist in 2004 in Japan with the single “Lira No Kataomoi” before joining the lineup of CSJH The Grace in 2005.

In 2012, after years of CSJH The Grace’s being on hiatus, she teamed up with fellow member Dana for the subunit Dana & Sunday, and released a single album.

She married her non-celebrity husband in July 2020.
