Wanna One’s agency Swing Entertainment has apologized to fans.

On September 28, a fan uploaded a video on their Twitter of Wanna One’s manager forcibly pushing a fan onto the ground at the airport. The video became a hot issue as many found his actions excessive and violent.

The following day, Swing Entertainment issued an official response on their Twitter page and apologized for the manager’s actions.

Their statement reads as follows:

“Hello. This is Swing Entertainment.

“We apologize for troubling fans about the video that is currently coming under fire online.

“The video in question was filmed at the airport on [September 28th] while departing Thailand, and the person [in the video] is indeed a manager of the company. After watching the video, the manager is deeply reflecting for taking excessive measures and will be disciplined accordingly.

“We’re greatly sorry to the fan in the video as something that should not happen under any circumstances has happened. We deeply apologize to all the fans for causing trouble through this disgraceful incident.

“We will do our best to prevent this type of ordeal from happening again through more thorough training.

“Once again, we apologize to the fans who love Wanna One, and we will become a Swing Entertainment that makes a greater effort.”
