Ailee shed a few tears during her SBS Inkigayo comeback performance for “I Will Show You” on the 21st. Fortunately, the reason was quite simple: “Ailee’s eyes were filled with some tears because of the strong winds coming from the wind machine that was installed on the stage,” explained an official of Ailee’s agency.

Rookie soloist Ailee has recently come back with her newest single, “I’ Will Show You,” which reached among the top in several of the Korean music charts just a day after its release. The music video for the song was released last week on October 16.

For this singer, everything started when she started posting self-made YouTube singing videos. Then, Ailee performed Rihanna’s “Unfaithful” on the singing competition on NBC’s “Maury Show” in the United States and won second place. It was the first time an Asian ranked that high on the show and the news quickly spread online. That same year, Ailee posted another video of herself singing Mariah Carey’s “Hero,” which now has more than 10 million views. Suddenly, she began to receive love calls from entertainment agencies including Sony Music and her current one, the YMC Entertainment.
